Sahajatri Welfare Foundation (SWF) is a registered Section 8 Non-Profit Organisation. All donations received are used strictly for charitable, developmental, and community welfare activities. Since donations are voluntary contributions towards social causes, cancellation and refunds are allowed only in limited exceptional situations.

1. Donations Once Processed Are Generally Non-Cancellable & Non-Refundable

 

Donations that have been successfully processed, recorded in the system, or allocated/used for any project or welfare activity cannot be cancelled or refunded under normal circumstances.

2. When Cancellation or Refund May Be Considered

 

A cancellation or refund request may be considered only in the following genuine cases:

 

Wrong amount entered

 

Duplicate payment

 

Bank or payment gateway technical error

 

Unintentional or accidental transaction

 

Unauthorised transaction from donor’s account

 

 

Requests must be submitted within 24 hours of the transaction.

3. How to Request Cancellation or Refund

 

Donors must email their request to:

The email must include:

 

Donor’s full name

 

Donation amount

 

Date and time of transaction

 

Payment reference / UTR number

 

Screenshot of the payment

 

Reason for cancellation or refund

 

 

SWF may request additional documents if needed.

4. Verification Process

 

Every request will be verified based on:

 

Validity of the reason

 

Confirmation from payment gateway or bank

 

Whether the donation has already been allocated or used

 

 

Only genuine and verified cases will be approved.

5. Refund Processing Timeline

 

If approved, the refund will be processed within 7–10 working days.

Refunds will be issued only to the original payment method/source, as per banking and payment gateway rules.

6. No Refund or Cancellation for Third-Party Payments

 

SWF does not authorise any individual, volunteer, or agent to collect donations personally.

SWF is not responsible for:

 

Cash payments

 

Payments made to personal/unofficial accounts

 

Any third-party collections

 

 

No cancellation or refund will be processed for such payments.

7. Fraud & Misuse Prevention

 

SWF reserves the right to reject any suspicious, fraudulent, or mismatched request.

8. Final Decision

 

The decis

ion of the SWF Management and Governing Body regarding cancellations and refunds will be final and binding.
