Sahajatri Welfare Foundation is committed to serving humanity with dignity, spreading hope where it’s needed the most
Sahajatri Welfare Foundation (SWF) is a nationally registered Section 8 Non-Profit Organisation dedicated to advancing sustainable, inclusive, and community-driven development across India’s most underserved and vulnerable populations. Established with a vision to ensure that every individual—regardless of background, location, or socio-economic condition—receives equal access to opportunity, dignity, and essential services, SWF is committed to addressing some of the country’s most pressing developmental challenges through long-term, structured, and high-impact initiatives.
India’s social landscape continues to evolve, yet millions of families remain deprived of fundamental human rights such as quality education, adequate healthcare, digital inclusion, safety, and economic stability. SWF was created to bridge this gap by focusing on holistic development that uplifts individuals while simultaneously empowering entire communities. Our work is built on the principles of equality, compassion, accountability, and sustainability, ensuring that every project contributes to meaningful and lasting social progress.
SWF functions through a combination of grassroots implementation, community partnerships, and collaboration with development professionals across multiple sectors. Our organisation operates with a mission to improve the quality of life for disadvantaged children, women, youth, and rural households through structured interventions that address the root causes of poverty, inequality, and social vulnerability.
The core philosophy of SWF revolves around the belief that sustainable development requires more than temporary solutions. Real change happens when communities receive access to lifelong tools such as education, health knowledge, skill-building, awareness, and empowerment. SWF promotes a development model where communities become self-reliant, confident, and capable of shaping their own future.
Our work aims to:
Create equal opportunities for all
Promote dignity, respect, and social justice
Address systemic barriers such as gender inequality, rural isolation, digital exclusion, and poor health infrastructure
Build stronger, healthier, and more resilient communities
SWF’s programmes are divided into interconnected pillars of development—each designed to provide long-term solutions, not short-term relief.
Provides academic support, learning materials, counselling, and awareness for children and youth lacking proper educational guidance.
Organises health camps, medical screenings, awareness sessions, menstrual hygiene drives, and preventive care initiatives.
Offers digital literacy, device training, online safety, and skill-building programmes to help individuals—especially women and youth—become digitally independent.
Supports women through livelihood training, rights education, financial literacy, leadership development, and health awareness.
Provides leadership development, personality building, mentoring, and career guidance to help youth become responsible and future-ready.
Conducts tree plantation, climate awareness initiatives, plastic-free campaigns, and clean-up drives.
Provides food, clothing, hygiene kits, and emergency relief during crises, disasters, or special community needs.
SWF follows strict transparency and accountability principles, ensuring ethical operations and responsible utilisation of resources.
The organisation has secured major national approvals:
NGO Darpan Registration (NITI Aayog)
CSR-1 Eligibility
12A Certification – Income tax exemption
80G Certification – Tax benefits for donors
These recognise SWF as fully compliant and eligible for future collaborations with CSR organisations, government bodies, donor agencies, and philanthropic institutions.
Although CSR funds have not yet been received, these certifications demonstrate SWF’s preparedness for large-scale partnerships and development projects.
To create a nation where:
every child receives quality education,
every woman lives with dignity and empowerment,
every youth accesses equal opportunities,
every community enjoys health, awareness, and equality,
and every human life is valued with compassion and respect.
To deliver sustainable and measurable social development through programmes in education, healthcare, skills, empowerment, awareness, and community-based interventions.
SWF implements a strategic and impact-oriented development approach grounded in:
Grassroots involvement
Community participation
Long-term sustainability
Ethical governance
Monitoring and measurable outcomes
Scalable, replicable models
We work closely with volunteers, teachers, medical professionals, youth groups, community leaders, and partner organisations to maximise programme impact.
SWF aims to expand across more districts, enhance partnerships, and introduce high-scale initiatives that contribute to national development goals.
Our priorities include:
Broadening education and healthcare programmes
Expanding digital literacy and skill-based initiatives
Strengthening women-led livelihood opportunities
Deepening youth leadership programmes
Building environmental sustainability projects
Developing strong CSR and government collaborations
SWF invites individuals, corporates, institutions, volunteers, and donors to join us in creating a more inclusive, empowered, and compassionate future.
Together, we can transform lives, uplift communities, and build sustainable social impact for generations to come.
